Assignment of parameter to variable giving error in lambda expression
I am using a lambda expression like this:
string userName = user.Identity.Name;
I am running a database-first EF code-first project. This works fine.
What I wanted to do was do something like this:
string userName = user.Identity.Name;
bool firstName = user.FirstName.Length > 0;
bool lastName = user.LastName.Length > 0;
bool email = user.EmailAddress.Length > 0;
bool phone = user.PhoneNumber.Length > 0;
bool address = user.Address.Length > 0;
var match = db.Users.Where(u => u.Id == user.Id)
.Select(user => new { user.Id,
firstName = user.FirstName,
